  I appreciate reviews from others and want to share my experience. Demasi is the worst physician I have ever known. I do not say this lightly. My first and only appointment went like this. I went online searching for hemorrhoid treatment and choose Dr. Demasi because his practice offered what I needed and it was close by my house. I described in detail my past medical history and current needs and scheduled my appointment online. When I arrived, I was seen by Dr. Demasi's Physician Assistant, Mackenzie Olsen. I explained to Mackenzie the reason for my appointment and other issues I was having, which were all related. During this conversation, Mackenzie decided I needed to have another procedure done first. I was disappointed because I had to continue dealing with the pain I was in, but agreed to have the procedure done in 3 weeks. I did ask for a prescription to help with the symptoms and pain I had and Mackenzie said she could prescribe something to help. I told Mackenzie I had been prescribed a certain medication in the past and it did not work, I told Mackenzie I did not know the name of it but I did describe it to her. Mackenzie was not sure what medication I was referring to but did order a medication that treated the pain and other symptoms. I picked up my prescription and was upset to find out Mackenzie ordered the medication that did not work for me!! I called the office the next day and explained to Mandy, Dr. Demasi's nurse what had happened. I told Mandy I was upset because not only did Mackenzie order the wrong medication, but the main reason for the office visit was not done!! Mandy eventually said I should speak to Mackenzie and put me on hold. After 10 minutes of being on hold, Dr.Demasi is on the phone, not Mackenzie. Dr.Demasi's said I told Mackenzie I did not know the name of the medication so Mackenzie did not know what medication did not work for me. I asked Dr.Demasi what other medication they could prescribe and he said there is no other, to which I replied then she should have known which medication I was referring to. Dr.Demasi must have been offended because he then became rude and said if I did not want to follow the treatment plan they have, then I can go else where. I could not agree more! IfDr.Demasi and his staff take offense to me being my own advocate and questioning my care, I can't trust them with my life, my health!!
